Easy Gajar Ka Halwa Recipe Without Milk | गाजर हलवा की सबसे आसान रेसिपी
- 3 Cups Carrots (Grated )
- ¾ Cup Sugar
- 2 tbsp ghee
- ½ Cup Mixed Nuts ((almonds, pistachio, cashew) chopped )
- 1 tsp Raisins
- ¼ tsp CardamamPowder ((Optional))
- ½ Cup Khoya ((Mawa))
Recipe Steps to Gajar Ka Halwa
- Firstly peel the skin of the carrots and grate finely, keep it aside
- In heavy bottom pan heat, ¼ cup ghee, and fry nuts until it turns golden brown and keeps aside.
- In the same pan, add the sugar and grated carrots and cook on low heat for 5 min or until the sugar melts, stirring occasionally.
- On medium flame continue to cook this mixture until the color turns deep orange and becomes thick. (about 10 to 12 min)
- Lower the flame, add the ghee, and cook for another 5 to 6 min or until the carrots are done while stirring occasionally.
- Once all the moisture dries up, remove from flame, add cardamom powder, khoya, and fried nuts
- Mix properly making sure everything is well combined
- Transfer the carrot halwa into a serving bowl and serve hot
- Garnish with roasted nuts and grated khoya.
