- 500 Grams Bajra Flour (Pearl Millet)
- 150 Grams Jaggery (Gur)
- 100 Grams Sesame (Til)
- Oil (For Frying )

Recipe Steps For Bajra Til Ki Tikki
- Heat 200 grams of water and mix it with jaggery.
- Sieve millet flour in a vessel, add sesame and 1 tablespoon oil in the flour.
- Knead a soft dough with a jaggery solution.
- Let the dough rest for 20 mins, after 20 mins, knead the dough one more time.
- Heat oil in the heavy bottom pan.
- Take a lemon-sized ball from the kneaded flour and slightly flatten it with the help of your palm.
- Flatten dough balls between palms and press to make tikkis 2 to 2,1/2 inch diameter.
- Deep fry these tikkis in hot oil, fry 4 to 5 tikkis at a time.
- Flip these tikis over and fry them on low and medium flame till turn brown.
- Take out fried tikkis on a plate and likewise prepare all the tikkis.
- Serve and enjoy mouth-watering hot tikkis.
- After cooling store them in air-tight containers, take out the Bajra tikkis from the box whenever you want, or eat them as a tea-time snack.
Useful Tips And Tricks
- If the jaggery gets dirty, then filter its jaggery solution with a sieve.
- Knead dough soft and smooth, otherwise, the Tikkis gets broken while growing
- Do not put tikkis in very hot oil, fry them on low and medium flame till turn brown, or else they would not cook from inside.
- Do not add too much jaggery otherwise, the tikkis can scatter in the oil while frying.Do
